It's the last BFTC episode of 2021, and we had to end the year off right with our special guest host, Echezona! Eche is a talented rap artist from Boston, who's achieved noticeable success with his 2020 breakout record "Galileo" (which was featured in NBA 2K21) and his recent Afro-pop records "Arm's Length" and "Big Chop". In this episode, Eche pays homage to his roots and the origins of his music career, explains the timeline between his debut EP "Self Care" to now, and addresses the people who have critiqued the shift in his sound!
In the second half of the episode, we all share our picks for the the inaugural Bad For The Community Year-End Music Awards... or as Nate coined "the Baddies". The categories include the standard Album of the Year, Song of the Year, etc... BUT we had to add our own little twist to it, of course. We wouldn't be Bad For The Community if we didn't make sure to include categories like "Make The H***s Dance" Song of the Year, "Favorite Song by a White Person", and much more!
We want to give a special shoutout to all of our listeners who have been rockin' with us from the jump or joined along during this beautiful journey! It's only the beginning... 2022 is only going to get bigger and badder (not a word) for the community! Enjoy the episode!
